Wheel Alignment Repair Procedures

1.When using the wheel alignment tester to check the wheel alignment, align the lift's vehicles horizontally.

2.Set the transmission gear to 'N'.

3.Inflate the 4 tires to the specified tire pressure.

235/55 R19	250 kPa (36 psi)
255/45 R20
255/40 R21	235 kPa (34 psi)	270 kPa (39 psi)

4.Check the steering wheel and tires aligning straight.

5.Hold the brake pedal depressed using a pedal stopper.

6.Measure the ride height, which is the distance from the end of the fender to the center of the wheel.

Ride Height :

Front (A) : 436 ± 10 mm (17.16 ± 0.39 in.)Rear (B) : 449 ± 10 mm (17.67 ± 0.39 in.)

7.Adjust the alignment to the specification.(Refer to Alignment - "Adjust")

   

Make sure to adjust the rear alignment first with curb weight and then adjust the front alignment by referring to the thrust angle.

8.After adjusting, shake the vehicle and check if the alignment value returns.

   

If the value changes significantly, check the suspension for free play or bushing damage and wear.

9.After adjustment, perform the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Calibration using KDS.(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Calibration")
