Kia EV6: Inspection

Inspection

Check it by performing procedure below to see if the function of the ECM is normal.

1.After IG ON, use a cloth to cover the forward sensor.

2.Using a flashlight, illuminate the rear sensor.

3.The ECM shall dim as soon as the rearward-facing sensor detects a certain level of brightness.

If this test is performed in daytime, the ECM may darkened as soon as the forward facing sensor is covered.

4.In the reverse gear, the ECM shall not dim.

5.ECM should not darken when light is illuminated on the front and rear sensors, respectively.
