Removal
1.Remove the height sensor. [If equipped](Refer to Body Electric System - "Intelligent Front-lighting System (IFS)")
2.Remove the rear motor and reduction gear assembly.(Refer to Motor and Reduction Gear System - "Rear Motor and Reduction Gear Assembly")
3.Remove the stabilizer bar link (A) after removing the nut.
Tightening torque :98.1 - 117.7 N·m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf·m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb·ft)
4.Remove the rear upper arm - rear (A) after removing the bolt, washer and nut.
Tightening torque :176.5 - 196.1 N·m (18.0 - 20.0 kgf·m, 130.2 - 144.7 lb·ft)
5.Remove the trailing arm nut (A) and bolt (B).
Tightening torque :176.5 - 196.1 N·m (18.0 - 20.0 kgf·m, 130.2 - 144.7 lb·ft)
6.Remove the rear carrier (A) after removing the bolt, washer and nut.
Tightening torque :176.5 - 196.1 N·m (18.0 - 20.0 kgf·m, 130.2 - 144.7 lb·ft)
7.Remove the rear stabilizer bar (A) after removing the bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque :49.0 - 63.7 N·m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf·m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb·ft)
8.Remove the trailing arm (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque :117.7 - 137.3 N·m (12.0 - 14.0 kgf·m, 86.8 - 101.3 lb·ft)
9.Remove the rear upper arm - rear (A) after removing the bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque :156.9 - 176.5 N·m (16.0 - 18.0 kgf·m, 115.7 - 130.2 lb·ft)
10.Remove the rear upper arm - front (A) after removing the bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque : 156.9 - 176.5 N·m (16.0 - 18.0 kgf·m, 115.7 - 130.2 lb·ft)
11.Remove the rear assist arm (A) bolts, plates and nuts.
Tightening torque :156.9 - 176.5 N·m (16.0 - 18.0 kgf·m, 115.7 - 130.2 lb·ft)
12.Remove the rear lower arm (A) after removing the bolts, plates and nuts.
Tightening torque :156.9 - 176.5 N·m (16.0 - 18.0 kgf·m, 115.7 - 130.2 lb·ft)
Installation
1.Install in the reverse order of removal.
When tightening the nut, align the center of the bolt plate scale with the center of the guide.[Rear Assist Arm]
[Rear Lower Arm]
2.Check the alignment.(Refer to Alignment - "Repair Procedures")
Inspection
1.Check the bushing for wear or aging.
2.Check all bolts and nuts.
