Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

   

• The Electric Vehicle comes equipped with a high voltage battery that can cause serious injury, like electric shocks, or even death when malfunctioning or mishandled, so follow the manual below.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be approved by International Standards (IEC 60900, ASTM F1505 and VDE). Check if PPE is guaranteed for insulation from AC 1000 V and DC 1500 V.

Insulated mat		To prevent electric shocks caused by the removed high voltage components, keep them organized on an insulated mat.
Insulated sheet		Cover the high voltage components with the Insulated sheet to prevent safety accidents for those not wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Inspection

   

In accordance with International Standards (including ASTM, IEC, and domestic standards), insulated gloves must be used within 12 months of the verification date stamped on the gloves, and the gloves must be re-certified once every six months from the last re-certification date stamped.

• Check if Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is not damaged or torn.

• After completely removing the moisture from the insulated gloves, check them as shown below before wearing them.

Fold the insulated gloves as shown above. Fold 3 to 4 more times to prevent air leakage. Check for any tears or damages.
