Removal
• When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
• When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
• When working on high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
[Standard]
• It can control the seat height by operating the seat cushion power switch (A) as shown on picture below.

1.Disconnect the battery negative ( - ) terminal and the service interlock connector.(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery - 2WD")(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery - 4WD")
2.Remove the front seat assembly bolts (A).
Tightening torque :44.1 - 58.8 N·m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf·m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb·ft)

3.Remove the front seat assembly after disconnecting the front seat connectors.
[Driver]
(1)Disconnect the connectors (A) connected to the front seat.
[Passenger]
(1)Disconnect the connectors (A) connected to the front seat.

Installation

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.
• Place the seat in the rearmost position, check that both sides of the slide are locked, and then lightly tighten the front bolt.
• Move the seat to the frontmost, check that both sides of the slide are locked, and then completely tighten the rear bolt.
• Move the seat back to the rearmost position and completely tighten the front bolt.
• Check that the seat is flexibly operated back and forth and is locked in the locked position of every section.
