Kia EV6: Removal and Installation

Removal

Active Air Flap(AAF)

1.Disconnect the battery negative ( - ) terminal and the service interlock connector.(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery - 2WD")(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery - 4WD")

2.Remove the front bumper.(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Assembly")

3.Disconnect the active air flap control unit connector (A).

4.Remove the air flap (A) after removing screws.

Tightening torque :1.0 - 2.0 N·m (0.1 - 0.2 kgf·m, 0.7 - 1.4 lb·ft, 8.7 - 17.4 lb·in)

1.Remove the active air flap actuator (A) after removing screws.

Tightening torque :1.0 - 2.0 N·m (0.1 - 0.2 kgf·m, 0.7 - 1.4 lb·ft, 8.7 - 17.4 lb·in)

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.
