Removal

Kia EV6. Hood Assembly   

Removing or installing the hood requires an assistant.

1.Remove the hood lifter (B) after removing the clip (A).

2.Remove the hood assembly (A) after removing the hood hinge bolts.

Tightening torque :18.6 - 24.5 N·m (1.9 - 2.5 kgf·m, 13.7 - 18.1 lb·ft)

Installation

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.

• Make sure that the hood locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.

• Adjust the hood alignment if necessary.
